The Tecnoclean treatment can be applied to all vitreous surfaces: glass, ceramics and sanitary ware.
The TECNOCLEAN treatment uses a chemical reaction which binds it to the vitreous surface rendering it non-stick.
The benefits are:
esthetical: maintains a clean and sparkling appearance for longer between cleaning. Resistance to surface contaminations, stains and darkening maintaining the original look and performance. Higher resistance to marks and scratches.functional: very easy to clean eliminating the need for violent and abrasive cleaning methods.
After the use of shower cabins a good idea is, to wash up with the shower tube the last little drops remained on glass ortiles. So all residues will flush away and the surface will be clean.
hygienic: neutralises water deposits; flushes away more quickly taking away dirt, salt, bacteria without leaving residues – on glass exposed to severe weather conditions it facilitates the removal of deposited dirt with subsequent showers.
Microbiological analysis by the Emilia Romagna Region ARPA on treated samples show the low bacterial residue on the surface thanks to the TECNOCLEAN treatment.
A 100 ml Staphylococcus Epidermis (attc. N.14990) culture at a concentration of 1.000.000/ml was left inside a bowl for 5 minutes to determine the germs’ resistance on the treated surface. After emptying the bowl, a swab revealed a 97/98% bacterial reduction in respect of a new untreated surface.
The difference between treated and untreated surfaces is highlighted when used over time. The untreated surface develops a rough lime scale deposit and marks caused by abrasives employed in more aggressive cleaning
Important!
The lasting effect of the treatment can be negatively affected by the following:
surge tank cleaning;
- the use of caustic detergents or abrasive sponges;
- prolonged contact with alkaline solutions.
The following do not affect the efficiency of the treatment:
- repeat dishwashing at 70°
- detergents, disinfectants, dyes, acids
The treatment is NON-TOXIC and can be repeated without contraindication at the first signs of abrasion; overlaid treatments do not increase efficiency nor increase the lifetime of the treatment.
WARNINGS
The product must be kept out of reach of children and must be handled solely with gloves, goggles and in a well-ventilated environment, avoiding direct inhalation.
We strongly recommend you follow the safety indications on the product.
Operating Instructions
On new surfaces
Shake well before use
TECNOCLEAN can be applied with a piece of cotton wool on new surfaces, as follows:
- clean the surface throughout
- pass TECNOCLEAN uniformly on the surface
- leave to dry for 10-30 minutes
- clean off with a damp cloth or detergent any treatment that hasn’t combined with the surface and dry off. Repeat treatment over any missed areas when the surface is dry and clean again.
The treatment can be sprayed on but this requires greater cleaning preparation.
On used surfaces:
Before applying this treatment, the lime scale must be completely removed from the used surfaces.
You can remove the lime scale by a lime scale remover or REMOV 50 GEL ; the treatment is ineffective if applied over lime scale.
After removal, carry out the instructions above.
Do not use on aluminium, plastic or chrome surfaces as it could alter their appearance. Do not use on varnished surfaces.
Do not use on marble, stone and stone-similar surfaces.
The treatment is not toxic and can be repeated without risk after the first signs of abrasion.
